SERVICES
eComponents Technology provides energy and environmental accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems for multi-location or multi-facility enterprises. Our Energy Information System (EIS) collects data via meter devices, EDI and flat file import, and/or manual entry options. Our web-based services are hosted at our secure data center, and our turnkey systems allow organizations to manage the EIS application on their own networks. All product features are available to users via standard web browsers such as Internet Explorer and Firefox.
Our EIS software is designed to work primarily with automatic metered data as part of a Utility Monitoring System (UMS). Utility Monitoring Systems continuously measure and collect energy and water consumption data. The acquired interval data is pushed to a data center for near real time views of load profiles. Utility monitoring is recognized by the U.S. Department of Energy as a "Best Practice" for commercial and institutional facilities and is the foundation of any energy efficiency program. Our systems have repeatedly demonstrated the principle that "what gets measured gets managed".
Our products provide clients with a number of energy accounting features for collecting and managing utility bill information. We provide utility bill entry forms for manually recording consumption and cost data from utility bills. The monthly entry form supports customary (U.S.) units, as well as International (SI) units, which allows for enterprise wide comparisons and metrics. Optional daily consumption entry forms are available for manual meter readings. Supporting manual and automated data entry systems enables enterprises to track and compare consumption and cost data for both metered (UMS) and non-metered facilities in any combination.
For more information please see one of the service sectors listed below, or view our product specification sheets.
